The Christmas Story As Told By Dolls
Many of you have heard the classic Christmas story several times- but have you ever seen it told by dolls?
This Christmas, DollBaker24 and I wanted to do something totally different for our holiday special. As anticipation builds, I think we all know how quickly we can get swept away in the excitement of the season! It's even easy for us to lose the heart of Christmas during festivities and holiday happenings. That's why DollBaker24 and I would like to share something very special with you— a doll sized look at the very first Christmas.
This is the story of a promise fulfilled, a gift given, and the beginning of redemption. This is the story of Christmas...
...As told by dolls.

For Christmas this year, God helped me see something special. I've been studying the birth of Jesus in my Bible, and one things that stands out to me is how our God always fulfills His promises. He revealed to the prophet Isaiah the great Promise of the Messiah nearly 700 years before Jesus was born! God planted the vision in Isaiah's heart and gave him the words to share with the people, providing them with hope and assurance that a savior would come.
Yet, just because a promise from God isn't fulfilled right away doesn't mean that He has cancelled His plans. The Israelites had to wait many, many years before Jesus was born- was God delaying the coming of the Messiah on purpose to punish sinful man? Not at all! The time was not right, and the season had not come.
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven."
When the right time did finally come, God fulfilled the promise He made long ago. Many years later in the little town of Bethlehem, Isaiah's prophecy came to pass. Jesus Christ was born in a stable! He was wrapped in old cloths and laid in a manger. That night, the King of the world was sleeping in an old trough in a barn. But why did God choose such a lowly place for Jesus to be born? He did this show that no matter how dirty, small, or unimportant something may appear to be, God can still use it for the most amazing purpose, just like He can use us today.
So as I conclude this year's Christmas post, here's my final message- God has made a promise to YOU, a promise full of good plans with a hope and a future. But that promise is not just for life on earth only. Because of Jesus, God wants you to live with Him in heaven for ever and ever! Have you accepted the Promise this Christmas?
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and wonderful time with family and friends this holiday! I'll see you after Christmas for the countdown to
